Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 2024

The website OregonLLCs.com is powered by Oregon Registered Agent LLC. At Oregon Registered Agent LLC we’re always focused on privacy and security. It’s what makes us one of Oregon state’s premiere registered agent companies. Plus, we will never sell or remarket client information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Oregon Registered Agent LLC and its affiliates (collectively “we” and “us”) gather, use, and disclose personal client information. This policy also applies to how clients may interact with us, including using our website, telephone calls, emails, etc.

Additionally, this Privacy Policy is part of our Terms and Use, and so governs your use of our services and products (“Services”). By using our website and Services, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.

If, for any reason, you can’t read or use our Privacy Policy as written, please contact our privacy team at 1-888-704-7214 or by email at agent@oregonllcs.com. We are happy to provide further assistance or answer any questions you may have.

Data Privacy Legislation in Oregon State

Oregon’s data protection laws aren’t as robust as California or the EU; however, they have taken measures to safeguard customer information. For example, Oregon’s Notice of Breach of Security law (ORS 646A.604) clearly states that customers must be notified of a known security breach within 45 days after discovery. The statue defines personal information as a client’s full name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport information, or financial information.

Fortunately, we don’t need robust state laws to tell us to focus on our clients’ privacy. We’re fully committed to protecting our client’s information and will never sell personal data to marketing firms. Anything shared with third-parties is restricted to purposes related to strengthening our services and fulfilling legal obligations. When you hire us, you can breathe easy knowing our team is dedicated to helping clients maintain their privacy.

Our security is built to protect data from unauthorized access, theft, or loss while still prioritizing availability to ensure that systems and data are accessible when needed through the processing of data accurately and completely. We also place an emphasis on confidentiality by limiting access to data based on authorized roles allowing us to protect client privacy through the safeguarding of individuals’ personal information.

How We Approach Information & Data Security

When we serve as your Oregon registered agent and provide business filing service, we will need to collect some personal information; however, we’re also dedicated to protecting it from others.

Personal information collected by the site is stored in operating environments that are not available to the public. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose your personal information to you. In certain telephone and in person transactions, we may ask for certain client identifiers or other information to verify your identity before conducting the transactions you have requested.

Please understand that while we try our best to safeguard your personal information once we receive it, no transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We periodically review our security procedures to consider appropriate technology and methods to secure information.
